THOMAS, CURTIS EARL

Curtis E. Thomas (1876-1939), was born on June 12, 1876, at Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, fourth son and seventh child born to Georg Joseph Thomas (1830-1902), an immigrant from Germany, and Jane "Jennie" Eleanor Massena (1833-1909).

On November 26, 1903, he married Glenn Roy Berry (1878-1947), at Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. They had a daughter Elizabeth Joan Thomas (1907-), and a son Curtis Allen Thomas, Jr. (1911-1961).

From 1910 - 1920, he worked as a clerk in a department store.

In 1930, he worked as a traveling salesman for the Clark Gum Company, a chewing gum manufacturer.

He died on May 5, 1939. He is buried in Grandview Cemetery.
