DONAGHE, SUSAN BOYLSTON

Susan Boylston Richardson Donaghe (1832-1913), was born on November 10, 1832, in Virginia daughter of William Richardson and Harriet Hallam Richardson.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; Descendant of Col. William Richardson and Capt. John Joslin, of Massachusetts; Capt. Amos Hallam, of Connecticut.

She married Dr. William Rice Donaghe (1830-1866). They had two daughters : Virginia, and Harriet.

In 1870, she lived in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.

She collected postage stamps and bought stamps from the Chapman Brothers since they were stamp, coin and curio dealers throughout their entire careers.

In June 1906, she traveled to Naples, Italy.

In August 1910, she traveled to Genoa, Italy aboard the S.S. Hamburg.

She died on January 23, 1913. She is buried in the First Presbyterian Churchyard, Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey.
