BIERMAN, STANLEY MELVIN

Stanley Melvin Bierman
was born in Los Angeles, California on March 26, 1935, son of Maurice and Bella Koran Bierman. He graduated UCLA in 1956 and from 1960-1964 underwent medical training in the UCLA Medical Internship program specializing in Dermatology. 
            He is a renown philatelist and philatelic historian. He is the author of about sixty articles, seven books, and produced nineteen video interviews on stamps, stamp collectors, and general philatelic history.
